Pricing options for Mezzaluna personal chef services shown are guidelines; client needs differ so we strive to develop pricing that fits individual needs.

All Mezzaluna Portland Oregon personal chef service standard packages include:

• Client consultation and assessment
• Personalized recipe research and menu development
• Shopping for the freshest ingredients available
• Preparation of meals, packaging, labeling, and storing
• Leaving your kitchen clean as a whistle with nothing remaining except for the aroma of fresh home cooked food.

Standardized Packages
Our food is prepared without any preservatives or artificial flavor enhancers; therefore, our frozen foods differ significantly from the selections available in your local grocery store. If the following packages don’t suit you, allow us to custom design one just for you. Your wish is our command.

Platinum Service – Our most popular package

• Includes 20 complete meals
• 5 entrees, 4 portions each, with side dishes (if appropriate)
• Serves a family of 4 for a week; a single person for 1 month; or a couple for 2 weeks

Complete Package Price: $355
Additional servings are available for a cost of $17 each.

Gold Service

• Includes 10 complete meals (5 entrees, 2 portions each, with side dishes)
• Serves a single person for 2 weeks; or a couple for 1 week

Complete Package Price: $275
Additional servings are available for a cost of $20 each.

Silver Service – Our introductory package

• Includes 8 complete meals (4 entrees, 2 portions each, with side dishes)
• Serves a single person 8 meals; or a couple for 4 days, designed for those who are interested in trying out Mezzaluna with minimal cost.

Complete Package Price: $225

Customized service for special diets sometimes adds a $40 service fee for menu research and development.

Other Fees:

Container Cost
A one-time container fee of $80 is included in your first invoice if you choose to use glass containers. If so, we will purchase Pyrex glass containers for you to keep in order for us to package your fresh cooked food. These containers will need to be available on your scheduled cooking dates. Other than glass, we utilize Ziploc freezer bags, aluminum pans, and other disposable containers.

Groceries
Grocery costs are included in our standardized packages. However, if you desire more expensive items such as shrimp, crab, and/or higher cuts of meats, grocery costs will be added to your bill.

Payment
It is customary to pay in full for service at the time your cooking date is booked. Mezzaluna accepts checks.

Additional Food Items Available

Salads
Fresh green, pasta, fruit, or vegetable salads with homemade dressing for 4-6 people are available for $22.00 (plus the cost of groceries.)

Desserts
Our executive chef’s specialty is baking and pastry work, therefore, his desserts come in a wide array of selections and are perfect for wedding rehearsal dinners and catering events in Portland, Oregon. Each dessert is priced individually.

Moon & Stars
The Mezzaluna signature cake, Moon & Stars, is a recipe that originally came from Marsala, Sicily. Chef John has been serving this cake to clients and friends for many years to rave reviews. Two layers of tender genoise are moistened with Marsala wine and sandwiched around a generous filling of velvety vanilla pastry cream packed with bittersweet chocolate chunks. The top of this amazing cake is finished with a stenciled dusting of imported cocoa featuring the Mezzaluna logo.
